The German band Wind entered the Eurovision Song Contest three times, but their debut took place in 1985, when they represented Germany with the song 'Für alle'. They finished second in a field of 19 competitors.The band recorded the song in three other languages: French ('Pour tout le monde'), Swedish ('Så många människor' and English ('For everyone'). This single features the English version. The B-side of the original German single, 'Feuer und eis' also appears in an English version here as 'Fire and ice'.
