Mezzoforte is a traditional musical term, an instruction to play literally 'moderately loud'. It is also the name of an instrumental funk fusion-band from Iceland. The line-up consists of Eyþór Gunnarsson, Jóhann Ásmundsson, Gunnlaugur Briem, Friðrik Karlsson and Staffan William-Olsson.Their biggest hit was the track 'Garden party', released in early 1983. It reached numbe 10 in the Dutch Top 40.
