The Dutch band Lois Lane released the second single from their second album 'Fortune fairytales' in the spring of 1990. 'I wanna be' was a straightforward pop song.The single reached number 15 in the Dutch Top 40, becoming their fifth consecutive chart hit. Unfortunately, their next single would not make the chart.
