Another controversy ensued when Dutch musician Thijs van Leer recorded a version of the composition. The choir is from the world-famous Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields. The track was recorded at the 10CC Strawberry studio in Manchester. Producer Eddy Ouwens turned it into a disco version and before they knew it, they had a Dutch Top 40 hit on their hands. The single reached number 29, but then the heirs of Ravel protested and the single was quickly pulled from the market.
