Released in August 1987, 'Whenever you're ready' was the first single from Five Star's third album 'Between the lines'. It is a bouncy popsong full of subtle sounds and a rather straightforward chorus-verse structure.The single reached number 11 in the UK singles chart and number 18 in the Dutch Top 40.
