'Revolution baby' was the last single by Transvision Vamp I ever bought. It was a gamble: whereas I knew the three others before I bought them, I hadn't heard this one at all. It is a far less memorable song, which is why I stopped buying their singles.Still, it was a hit, reaching number 30 in the UK in the summer of 1988. The band went on to release the hit album 'Pop Art' in October. It stayed on the album chart for 32 weeks, peaking at number 4.
